Shower, Shave, and Exfoliate a few hours prior to applying the self tanner. Please use a gel based soap as opposed to an emollient rich cream based wash and stay away from razors with moisture strips on them. Deodorants, lotions, body oil and makeup should NOT be on the body when applying your self tanner. 

X | Shower, Shave, and Exfoliate prior to self tanning (a minimum of 4 hours prior is ideal for best results). 

X | Ensure there are no lotions, oils, serums, or perfumes present on your skin prior to application. 

X | Start off by using a small amount of moisturizer (our favorite is HEMPZ) on dry areas such as elbows, wrists, hands, knees, and ankles. 

X | Working your way from the bottom of your body to the top is easiest (Leave hands, feet, and face until the end). 

X | Use large circular motions on each body part to ensure an even application. 

X | Coat the entire body with two coats for optimal results (elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, and feet only need one coat). 

X | Applying a light layer of self tanner to the hands, feet, and face is easiest with a fluffy makeup brush. Again, a light layer is all that is needed. 

X | Post self tanning session, wear long, loose, dark clothing until your first shower. 

X | DO NOT GET WET OR SWEAT prior to your first shower. 

X | Shower at desired time based upon the darkness depth
you are craving. 

With our Rapid Mousse formulas, you are able to shower in as little as 2- 6 hours, based upon how dark you'd like to be! Or you can and leave it on for 6+ hours for a deeper darker color. Keep in mind, the first shower is just a water rinse, no soap is involved. Use the palm of your hand to thoroughly glide off all bronzer from body. Once the water in your shower is running clear, hop out and don't moisturize just yet! You may resume normal soap showers and moisturizing, 12 hours post application.

You will instantly see color upon application, but this is NOT your final tan result. This color seen is just the result of cosmetic bronzers. Your true tan will begin developing in as little as 2 hours and will continue to darken and develop over the next 12 hours.

Your Saint + Sólita self tan can potentially last up to one week! Following proper prep and aftercare tips will be crucial for longevity.

X | Moisturize 2 x's a day after first soap shower. A water based + fragrance free moisturizer is recommended. Coconut oil / Jojoba oil are also great choices.

X| Avoid hot showers.

X| Stay Hydrated.

X | Avoid excessive sweating or soaking in water for long periods of time as this will cause your tan to fade quickly and unevenly.

X | Avoid products with exfoliants, synthetic fragrance, mineral oils, and essential oils.

X | Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the skin.

X | Use SPF - choose a cream as opposed to an Aerosol. Ensure it is oil free and Oxybenzone Free.
